The Project
The Kitchen - a virtual training product that brings food safety training to a new level. Developed in partnership between The Street and Otago Polytehcnic and utilizing the capability of Straylight Studios and reflects the latest in 3D technology.
About Otago Polytechnic
Otago Polytechnic provides excellent learning experiences for a wide range of learners, nationally and internationally, and is a cornerstone of the economic, social and cultural development of the Otago region. We are active and present throughout Otago, delivering programmes through our campuses and learning centres in Dunedin, Mosgiel, Cromwell, Alexandra, Wanaka and Queenstown. About The Street
The Street is a hitech start up based on technology being developed in Dunedin and global partnerships.The Street was formed in 2006 after investment from both corporate and angel investors, and is involved in 3D Visualisation for the internet using platforms such as Virtual Training, Personal Choice, and Virtual Communities.
About Intuto
Intuto is a young, Auckland based leading e-learning training and support company.
Its primary intent from the outset has been to efficiently deliver high quality, effective
education and training to large numbers of people. To achieve its goals the company
has developed technical, marketing and pedagogical skills enabling it to take any
learning content, enrich and then deliver it. Intuto’s customers include commercial and
corporate entities who recognize the importance of lifelong learning in order to keep an
increasingly mobile workforce motivated, current, up skilled and able to communicate
